Fubra operates it's own AS number, 35456. We interconnect in the UK with over 100 network peers to deliver our web content directly to web users at the highest possible speed. By owning and controlling our own network we ensure full redundancy and have our own platform that allows us to fail over to diverse geographical sites in the event of network problems.

We run an open peering policy and want to connect to as many autonomous networks as possible for a number of reasons.

Firstly, if you are an ISP we want to peer with you so that the popular consumer web sites we own and operate in the UK can be accessed by your customers as quickly as possible. Around 7% of the on-line population in the UK visit a Fubra website every month.

Secondly, we are building a number of vertical search engines such as www.myjobsearch.com, which crawl data from various web sites in certain strategic sectors. This includes job sites, property sites, car sites and other classified advert sites. The faster and cheaper we can access hosting providers networks, the fresher our data can be and the better our sites will become for our users. So if you host content, we want to peer with you too.
