Internship – Calling all students!
Fubra is a successful and fast-paced company that specialises in building on-line solutions to assist consumers in finding information that is not easily accessible on the web. We are currently looking for web developers and online marketing assistants to take part in a two week boot camp with the opportunity to join us for an internship over the summer at our offices in Aldershot, Hampshire.
The boot camp will provide you with a chance to prove your skills, and us with a chance to get to know a potential Fubra colleague. A few lucky candidates will then be offered a paid 10 week internship for the summer with the potential for a full time, permanent contract at the end.
About the Boot Camp
During the boot camp you will be working in small teams, developers with online marketers, and together you will need to evaluate one of our websites and come up with a plan of how to improve the design and features. Working together you will have to implement the changes and document how the process has gone. As a team at the end of the boot camp you will be asked to present any changes you have made to the site and any that you would plan to make in the future.
What you can expect
The Summer boot camp will take the following format.
10th June, 6pm – Final deadline for applications.
6th – 10th June :- Interviews for a place on the Summer Boot camp.
17th June – 1st July :- Work in small teams at our office in Aldershot to plan and implement ways to improve our existing websites.
1st July :- Results of the boot camp. Present to us your progress and any further changes you would still make if you had the chance.
4th July :- Paid internship begins for the lucky candidates. If you are offered a place on our internship you will be working in teams to improve our vast network of websites, with new features and designs.
