We have just released a new WordPress plugin which makes adding the minimum, maximum and average fuel prices for your area in the UK to any WordPress blog easy.
As mentioned in this blog post the plugin makes use of the new PetrolPrices.com XML data feed in order to build a fully customisable table. The plugin provides both a widget which can be included in any widgetized theme, and a shortcode which can be included in any post or page.
There’s more information on the PetrolPrices.com feeds page, and the plugin can be downloaded from WordPress.org.

We are pleased to announce today the start of development on an HMRC extension to support the online filing of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). This is the second HMRC extension to be included in the project. The current roadmap only includes support for CIS300 (Contractor’s monthly return) although, depending on time restraints, this may be extended to verifications in the near future.
The extension, named CIS, will be added to the development trunk this afternoon. It is expected that a 0.1 release of the extension will be available as a packaged download for the 0.3 release of the base class by the end of November 2009.
