Fubra – focused on you
Whilst sitting in our chillout/meeting room at lunch yesterday eating lunch I had an epiphany!
I had finished designing the new Fubra.com site and like most times after finishing a website I couldn’t get the design out of my head. Thinking what if I moved this here or changed that image there.
What did keep coming back to me was the slogan ‘focused on you’ I had created to define our brand. With this I wanted to summarise what we do here at Fubra.
I have always personally felt this has always been our aim here at Fubra with all of our websites designed and built to help you our users find what they are looking for quickly and easily. Having pushed this brand on the new Fubra site. I thought it would be great if all of the guys here at Fubra can be really proud of what we do here and also be proud of why we do it.
So I thought what would be better than (literally) painting our identity ‘slogan’ all over our walls!
Me and Nick got started on the painting at 6pm and we had finished at 1am this morning. With a couple of breaks in between for Chinese food and to watch the end battle scene in Zulu :s If that doesn’t get you geared up for painting I don’t know what will!
Knowing you would probably not like to watch 6 hours of us painting we have cut it down to a mere 45 seconds for you to enjoy.

New Fubra.com and Fubra World website!
Lots has been going on at Fubra over the past few months. Not least work on our brand new site, this time I’m pleased to say it’s mainly Harry’s great creative work and it shows. He’s even come up with a great new slogan “Focused on You” which I think really captures what we aim to do in our business. We are all trying to serve our users and customers as best we can by analysing what they might want and listening to what they tell us.
From a technical side we have got a WordPress MU powered blog and site now so there won’t be any excuse for us not keeping it up to date and everyone who has seen it so far is really happy with the work that has gone in to the design and build of the site.
For me the great thing about this redesign has been how little I have needed to be involved and what a great result there has been. I am really pleased with the work of everyone who has contributed to not only the site but helping the business so far and we are all looking forward to growing the company from here.

As if all that wasn’t exciting enough we have also built a new Fubra World flash site. It’s a great effort Nick and Steve have been working on for quite a while now and is a massive step forward in explaining our business in a fun format. We are even thinking about selling off building plots on the site so if you want to buy one get in touch but not before you have turned on your speakers and watched the Fubra airways plane land at the airport.
And finally can you guess which one is me on our team page? I thought I had a bit of a double chin but Harry has obviously caught me in a good light!
